Chapter 15 - Unbreakable

Elyazyh’s perspective:

I couldn’t speak , I didn’t know what to say so I just zipped my mouth. Khalifa looked at me and smiled and hugged me from the back. I was confused by his reaction and completely shock.

Khalifa: “ May I help you ?”

Rashid raise an eyebrow at him, I could sense that he is pissed.

Rashid: “ Don’t you dare touch her.”

Khalifa: “ Who are you to tell me what to do. I cant do whatever I want with her.”

Rashid: “ Who gave you the permission to do that last time I checked she was mine.”

I could feel that there was a war begging between this two. I didn’t want to talk but once I heard what Khalifa said my jaw dropped.

Khalifa: “ That was last time but now she is mine and ya her parents gave me the permission.”

Me and Khalifa when did that happen? Am I missing something? Rashid gave us a look and left. As soon as he left I removed Khalifa’s hand from my wrist and looked at him confused.

Me: “ What do you mean by what you said to him?”

Khalifa: “ I did that so he wont bother you since now he knows your mine he wont dare come near you.”

When he said that I felt as if a bullet struck through my heart. What is this feeling? I never felt it before could it be no it cant be. He is my friend that’s it. We bought ice-cream and went directly to the restaurant. I was quite the whole time talking to myself , trying to figure out the feeling. Suddenly Reem brought me back to reality when she nudged me on the shoulder.

Reem: “ ( whispering) Tell me everything tonight since I’m coming 3ndch, now act normal so the others wont feel that something happened.”

I nodded and couldn’t wait to tell her for I really want her help. It was a long day to me because of what happened. When I arrived my room with Reem I immediately locked the door and grabbed her to my bed. We sat their quietly then I began telling he everything from A to Z.

Reem: “ Elyazyh don’t get angry or confused bs from what you said and the way your feeling I think your in love with him.”

Me: “ It couldn’t be la I think your mistaken. How can I fall in love with him so fast he is only my friend and before he was my crush kaif chi?”

Reem: “ It’s ok if you love him he isn’t bad you know bl3aks wayed 7aboob he has a big heart to.”

Me: “ I know that I really don’t know by the time I might know what this feeling mean maybe it’s love maybe no.”

Reem: “ ( hugging me) You know I’m always here for you lo ay shay estwa tell me.”

I nodded and hugged her back. I’m grateful for having a best friend like Reem whom is always by my side in my ups and downs.

Reem’s perspective: 

I have a feeling today is going to be a good day. I woke Elyazyh up we got ready and head down to have breakfast. My uncle came down and he decided to join us.

Elyazyh: “ Baba aba asafir.”

Uncle A7mad: “ Inshallah.”

Elyazyh: “ Ya3i n7n msafreen 9a7?”

Uncle a7mad: “ Haih w b3ad wyaah gom Reem ;).”

Reem: “ 9dg wain?”

Uncle A7mad: “ Somalia inshallah.”

Our jaws dropped then he laughed.

Uncle A7mad: “ (laughing) La la banseer America inshallah.”

We started screaming then we realized that we weren’t alone then we all laughed at our reaction. I’ve always wanted to travel to the united states I’m so excited I cant wait. Oh my God I want to pack from now on this is going to be one of the best summer.

I decided to go, once I opened the door to my surprise it was Mayed. No one moved we just kept staring it was like our eyes began their own conservation. I then realized that I was still staring at him, I excused myself shyly. What just happened?

I entered my car and drove off to the mall. My mind was away far away thinking of what just happened. I wasn’t concentrated on the road then suddenly the car’s horn brought me back. I pressed on the break putting all my force on it. I was about to bump the car. Once I stopped the car on the side I kept breathing heavily as my heart was beating continuously.

I saw a white VTC parked behind my car but I ignored. The person knocked on my door then I opened the door without knowing.

Mayed: “ Reem are you ok?”

That was the last thing I heard and everything went blank.
