Chapter 13 - Unbreakable

Reem’s perspective:
Today is our first and last day for us to start the third semester. After a month I’ll be standing in front of many people in a stage ready to receive my diploma. The thought of it made me nervous and energized at the same time. I just cant wait to leave school and take a trip to America in the summer.

I scampered to the bathroom and distorted into my school uniform and wore my shaileh. Breakfast was ready at the table in the kitchen I grabbed my sandwich and milk along with that I went to the car.

While eating I saw Elyazya coming towards me drowsy and tired with her eyes half closed.

We got into the car and left. I started listening to music on my Ipod on the other hand Elyazya was sleeping as usual.

We arrived late just like always. As soon as I stepped outside the car with Elyazya, I saw my friends running towards us.

Salama: “ W a5eeeran yaito I’ve been waiting for so long here.”

Me: “ I’m sorry sweety next time I wont ;p.”

Noorah: “ Yallah lets go inside before we miss our class.”

Elyazyh's perspective:

While walking half asleep suprisingly I hit a solid body on my way inside. I rubbed my eyes and looked up with my hand on my forehead for it’s in pain.

Rashid : “ Well Well if it isn’t Elyazyh , you didn’t seem to answer my message that I’ve sent to you perhaps you were scared to reply am I right?”

 Well if it isn’t the bastard, I have to be strong and face him. Ugh he is getting on my nerves moreover I’m worried of what he is capable of doing to me. My hands were quivering as I was about to counter.

Me: “ Well well if it isn’t the devil himself. For your information I’m not afraid from you nor from anyone else did you hear that? Well it seemed I’ve wasted my time talking to you. Good bye.”

While walking to the main door I heard him say “ I wont let you run away like this, you will see soon what is going to happen keep that in my mind.”

I rushed to the classroom, terrified and scared for what he is planning to do. Different things came running in my mind in class like hurricanes, is he going to kidnap me ? Tell me brother or what? I struggled to think positive and keep myself strong. Reem realized that I was worried and that something happened but she stayed quite until were alone.

The whole day I ignored what occurred and put my focus on my studies because there is no use of thinking of it. Once the bell rang and we were allowed to leave I cuddled my friends and said my farewells. I pulled Reem’s hand to the car so I could tell her everything.

Reem: “ By the way what’s wrong with you during the breaks you weren’t concentrating to what we were saying. What were you day dreaming about?”

I told her what happened every single detail about it. She told me what I did was right by being strong in front of him. We kept chatting and without knowing we reached home safely. Reem left home as she has some homework and so did I. This month is going to be crowded and loaded with school work. I hope it passes really fast for I want to graduate and begin my summer vacation. I really cant wait for summer!!

Narrator’s perspective:

The month passed by quickly as everyday they would study to get high marks. Elyazyh was relieved that Rashid didn’t do anything stupid that will cause problems however he began reminding her to be careful. Elyazyh would ignore and move on just like what Reem told her to do.

And so it finally came their last day of school and the beginning of their summer vacation.

Noorah: “ Yazy come on lets go we will be late for our exam !!”

Elyazyh: “ Oh 9a7 I totally forget thanks for reminding me. Hold on d because today is our last day in this school sho raych we race to class ?!”

Noorah agreed and smiled widely. They counted till three and scampered all their way up the stairs.

Noorah: “ Mwahahaha I won again…I cant breath.”

They stopped then rested to breath and paced their way to class. They both finished their exam and waited for the bell to ring. Suddenly the bell rang.

Both: “ SUMMER TIME!!”

They skipped their way to Reem and Salama and kept jumping around because at last they finished school. Now what was left was their graduation ceremony and of coarse the party.

Once summer started they all made up an idea of making a huge party to celebrate their graduation. They shopped for dresses and stuffs for the party like balloons, candles etc..

The first week of summer was all about shopping and going to malls. The up coming week on Thursday will be their graduation. Reem and Elyazya’s parents were proud of them and so they began crying.

 At Elyazya’s Home.

Reem: “ Laish t9e7oon haha I’m still your baby.”

Elyazyh: “ I agree with Reem!”

Mayed laughed at them and began joking around. They spend their day laughing and having fun with their families.

Elyazyh’s perspective:

Once we finished eating dinner I saw a red light flickering from my phone I grabbed it then opened my blackberry messenger and found that someone added me. I kept staring at the screen and at the name. How ? When? From where did he got my pin?

It was Rashid.

I threw my phone to Reem, she was confused at first but once she saw it she excused herself. I don’t know what she had in mind so I excused myself and followed her up.

Me: “ What do you have in mind.”

She stopped and looked at me.

Reem: “ Listen Elyazyh I just found out that Khalifa knows Rashid. He told me to not allow you to get near him because you know Rashid he is bad.”

Me: “ I know Reem I really do but I didn’t do anything. He added me but I didn’t accept I wanted to show you first. Reem..I’m really scared wallah a5af ysawy shay fyh.”

She came and sat beside me.

Reem: “ Esm3y if your scared sho raych you talk to Khalifa he might tell you what to do. Plus he also wanted to talk to you bs he told me to ask you first if it’s ok for him to add you.”

Me: “ Lool 3adi he can add me I don’t get bothered from him.”

Eventually now I have Khalifa and he will help me so no need to get anxious right? Nothing is going to happen. I ignored the invitation and said good bye to Reem with that I head off to sleep.
