Narrator's perspective:
Its been a month they have vistied many place in the Untied states and afterwards they went London. The girls went shopping with their parents while the boys were hanging out with their pals. Nasser left Reem and went back to Dubai, promising her he won't bother he again. It was time for them to return back to Dubai before college begins.
Elyazyh: " REEM for God sake wake up !! We will be late!!"
She stood up and grabbed a cold bottle of water and splashed it all over Reem's face.
Reem: " YAAL CHALBAA!! Do they wake up people in this way early in the morning you idiot !!"
She kept laughing at Reem's reaction and ignored what she said then headed out.
Reem's perspective:
Thanks for ruining my day Yazooy. I took a bath then heard someone entering the room. I swallowed hard and closed the water. My heart kept pounding so fast as I got closer to the bathroom door. I was so scared to ask whom it was so I remained silent. The stranger's footstep got closer to me but thank God I locked the bathroom door before I took a shower so I'm safe. I searched for my phone here and there but bad luck for me it was on my bed. Damn it !
*Knock Knock*
I froze every blood in my body froze. I couldn't reply as my lips are sealed. Reem listen grab the spray and get out come on come on ! I took a deep breath, grabbed the spray then wore my robe towel well so it won't fall. I immediately opened the door and sprayed at the burglar without even looking.
.....: " AAAAAYY!!"
I removed my hands from my eyes and found Mayed rubbing his eyes. Shit !! I'm in deep trouble!!
Reem: " Og my God I didn't see you, I'm so sorry. I thought you were a burglar!"
I got closer to him, took his hands off from his eyes and got a good look at it. His left eye was all red, my heart ached by staring at it. It must really hurt. I went to get him some ice from the fridge then rap it up with tissue and handed it to him.
Reem: " Asfeh Mayed wallah makan 8a9di, I was just scared."
Why do I get scared a lot? I mean if a thief would enter the building he or she will break the window not get a card from the reception to enter the room. Stupid me!
The thought of me touching his hands made shivers run down my spine. I quickly stood up as he looked at me with confusion while scanning me from head to toe.
Mayed: " It's ok...Dont you think you should change."
He shoot me one of his devilish grin revealing his white teeth that almost made my eyes go blind. I could feel my cheeks turning red and warm to the thought that I'm half naked.
Me: " Uh..yes I better change..bye!"
I ran and grabbed my dress before I could lock the bathroom door.
Mayed's perspective:
Wow is all I could say. If only you knew how much I loved you but I never had the courage to tell you that. While I was deep in my world thinking of Reem, she appeared.
Reem: " I'm done we can leave now."
Me: " Let's go then shorty."
Reem: " I'm not short don't say that you giant!"
Me: " I'll take that as a compliment senorita."
While we were in the elevator, two old couples entered. They kept looking at both of us, smiling.
Old lady: " Are you guys fighting?"
She looked at me then back to Reem.
Reem and I together : " No were not."
I flashed a smile at Reem and we began laughing at our funny reaction.
Old lady: " You make a cute couple, you must be lucky to find a man handsome as him (she looked at Reem then winked at me)"
I'm loving this adorable old lady.
Me: " Yes yes you're lucky my love."
I stood beside Reem and wrapped my arm around her. She was shocked by my reaction as she began blushing.
Old man: " You better take care of her never hurt her."
Me: " Don't worry I can never hurt my pretty wife never!"
The old couples smiled at us and said there good-byes once we reached the lobby. I let go of Reem then chuckled.
Me: " Haha they're just so funny they thought we were married or something. I'm to handsome and attractive to take a shorty like you."
Reem: " Don't get full of yourself. I feel sorry for the people who lie at your face saying your handsome."
Me: " Someone is jealous over here."
She is cute when she's jealous and that death stare she gave as I left her dumbfounded.
