Elyazyh’s perspective:
When he said it, my heart began pounding so fast against my ribcage. My stomach began to tingle as shivers ran down my spins from his touch. The word I love you began repeating in my mind none stop. My lips were kept sealed I couldn’t speak perhaps I didn’t know what to say. I’m stunned.
Khalifa: “ I know that you’re shocked and paralyzed but Elyazyh I love you I really do. I promise you I will never hurt you.”
Me: “ Umm..I really don’t know what to say this is happening to fast.”
Khalifa: “ Do you love me?”
What do you I say? Yes I love you Khalifa? Hmmm I don’t know with Rashid I said it but with Khalifa it’s different. I’ll just follow my heart and say it, nothing to lose.
Me: “ mmmm yes.”
My cheeks began to turn red and warm, as if rainbow colors were flashing all over the sky. I looked down on the ground shyly avoiding any eye contacts.
Khalifa: “ sho yes (smirking)?”
I love it when he smiles it shows his cute dimples on both cheeks. He is just trying to get on my nerves and force me to say it. I won’t say it.
Me: “ Khalifa !!.”
Khalifa: “ Yes?”
Me: “ T8haar!!.”
Khalifa: “ I don’t have all day ok yallah say it (acting cool).”
Me: “ Fine I love you happy now.”
Khalifa: “ Thank you.”
He kissed my right cheek that were glowing the red color and left. Excuse me? Is he playing with me? Ma3laih Khalifa. I looked at the time and remembered that Reem is waiting for me. I swifted back in and called her.
Reem: “ Mashallah 6ool hal wagt sho tsaween t9e7een 7abeeebty?”
Reem being sarcastic just like always. I laughed hysterically as some people gave me weird looks while passing by.
Me: “ Hahaha la t3aly bagoolch everything. I’m so happy!”
Reem: “ Haih haih akeed because you left me.”
Me: “ Fdaaait wayhch akeed. I’m joking wallah.”
I grabbed her hand so she wont slip away from me and go to any shop she sees. Seriously t3abt min kthr ma nsawy shopping. I told her everything from A to Z. The whole time she was saying Chthaaba. Now why would I lie?
Reem: “ Omg so the whole time he was saying I love you malat 3laaikm.”
Me: “ Chub it was romantic.”
Reem: “ Yea so romantic in the parking.”
Me: “ (laughing) Chub Reem yallah mta bayi doorich.”
Reem: “ I have no idea haha. Zain so you got what you wanted which is Khalifa I hope ma ywadrch or I’ll kick his ass.”
It was already 11:00pm so we decided to go back home. In the car we were planning on what we shall do in Los Angeles and London. First we will be going to Los Angeles for couple of weeks afterward we will travel to London for a week. We were busy discussing that we didn’t even realize that we already reached home. Both of us departed our separate ways said good night and directly went to sleep.
Narrator’s perspective:
It finally came the day where their journey or shall I say trip is ready to start. The sun rose up shinning brightly allowing it rays to enter the house awakening them. The sky was blue with clouds scattering everywhere with different shapes. Birds tweeting as they flew from one place to another until they reach their destination. She sat there by the pool, reading her favorite book as she sipped her coffee that was in her pistachio and pink mug that she brought from Turkey last summer. It was quite and peaceful day until her best friend came and interrupted her moment of being alone.
Elyazyh: “ Reem come on get dressed we are going to leave now!”
She glances at the time and quickly drinks her coffee then carries her story and rushes up the marble stairs and into her room. She wore hot pink Cavalli tracksuit with LV side bag and pink Hermes slippers. She applies simple makeup on her pale face, allowing her black curls to flow. In contrast Elyazyh wore long black and pink Missoni dress with Hermes ballet pumps, Prada purse with pink Fendi scarf covering her hair. Once she is done she checked if she brought everything she needed like Ipad, Ipod, story etc..
Reem went with her parents including Khalifa while Elyazyh went with her parents and Mayed. The airport wasn’t that far from there place which was better for them. When they arrived, their parents went to check on their immigration on the other hand Reem, Elyazyh, Mayed and Khalifa decided to go to duty free to buy some junk.
Reem: “ Elyazyh look behind you, there is this guy he’s been following us everywhere.”
Elyazyh took a glance behind as if she is searching for something. Then she realizes that the guy is coming to their direction.
Elyazyh: “ Kla mnch now bayi 3ndna act normal.”
She nodded and the next minute they knew he was right behind them.
The guy: “ Good morning ladies do you need help I saw you searching for something (smirking).”
What a flirt and he got an excellent American accent Reem justifies to herself.
Reem: “Good moring to you to..no thank you we already got what we want but thanx anyways for the help.”
She gives him a warm polite smile.
The guy: “ My pleasure it was nice meeting you-.”
Reem trying to think of a name.
Reem: “ Meera(smiling).”
The guy: “ 3ashat el2samy, w ana esmy Nasser.”
So he is local and a gentlemen Reem exclaimed to herself
Reem: “ 3ashat ayamk it was nice meeting you. I’m sorry but I have to leave my parents are waiting for me.”
Nasser: “ Its ok have a nice day!”
Reem: “ You two.”
She smiles and walks away searching for Elyazyh whom left her when Na9ir came. When she got out of the store she found on a corner Mayed and Elyazyh. She hoped that he didn’t see her talking to Nasser. While walking her heart kept racing and her hands began to sweat. He gave her death stares as she came closer.
Reem: “ Elyazyh wain knty ? I was wandering around adawir 3laich.”
Mayed moves his gaze from the store and back to Reem.
Mayed: “ The question is where were you not her?”
Reem swallowed hard to clear her throat before talking.
Reem: “ I was in the shop.”
Mayed: “ What were you doing there?”
Reem: “ Buying junk.”
Mayed: “ Then why didn’t you come with Elyazyh?”
Reem: “ She left me.”
Reem got mad at what Elyazyh did which is leaving.
Mayed: “ La tlfeen w doreen ana shftch b3ainy knty tramseen wa7ed da5il.”
Elyazyh winks at Reem informing her not to worry.
Elyazyh: “ Haih kan shay wa7ed ys2al-ha about a shop so she was just telling him the way while I was searching for chocolate. She did want to ignore and be rude so she just simply told him and came.”
Reem hoped that he would believe that story or else they will both get in trouble. Mayed believed what she said but was still suspicious. Both were glad that any scene didn’t occur as they’re not in the mood for dilemma. Once they heard the annoucment about they’re flight they hurried to the gate in order to get there in time. It’s a buzz when you’re late to reach the gate as people are moving all over the place like animals in search for food or a prey.
After a long walk, at last they reached their destination in time. They got their ticket seats along with into the plane they went. As they sat in their seat buckled up a familiar figure appears when Reem was grabbing something from her bag. All she could see was a Hermes black sandals, familiar Once Million scent, slowly she lifts her head up and gasps in amazement.

Chapter 17 - Unbreakable
Reem's perspective:
These two weeks passed by so fast as we had the graduation party at my house it was so fun it felt like we were at a disco. I'm almost done packing for our vacation to the United States. I just can't wait to ride the plane and fly away to Los Angeles. I wanna shop till I drop. Ok stop imagining and talking Reem back to work.
Me: " Louboutin how can I forget you my love".
I was hugging my heels w faj2a I heard someone chuckling behind me..it was my dad.
Me: " Ahh baba when did you came here?"
Dad: " I was about to go to your mom then I saw you hugging hatha el k3ab malkm so I said let me stand and laugh."
Me: " BABA!!!."
He went laughing all the way to mom. I kept on packing my clothes neatly in the bag as in the afternoon I'll go out with Salama.
Elyazyh's perspective:
I took a break from packing and decided to watch the Enews while drinking my hot chocolate. My phone suddenly vibrates in my pocket thus I took it out and looked at my screen to find Reem calling.
Me: " Alo halla Reeeem."
Reem: " Heyyy agooolch go get ready we will go to Dubai Mall with Salama yallah byeee see you!"
I was about to reply but she closed..typical Reem. I heading to my dressing room got out my juicy short sleeve shirt and jeans. I finished less than five minutes and Reem didnt arrive yet. I applied some foundation, thin line of eye liner, mascara and pink lipstick. While I was wearing my 3bah I saw Reem's car outside I rushed to grab my Hermes bag and ran down the stairs to the car.
Me: " Hellooo ya 7lween."
Reem and Salama :" Thank you ;;)."
They both laughed at their reaction. We sang the whole ride to Dubai Mall. Without noticing we arrived there early, we parked the car and headed to the inside. We kept on shopping and shopping as usual then we decided to go to Armani cafe. As we were sipping our cappuccino local hot guys were passing by the faj2a Salama gasped.
Me: " Salama bsmila shfty jny?"
Reem: " Salaaamy rdy balach?"
Reem and I looked at the direction she was looking at and guess whom it was. I could tell that he was amazed which made me to.
Reem: " Khalifa?!"
Salama: " Do you know him?"
Reem: " Yes he's wld 3amy."
Salama: " OMG chthaaba!! He's my ex."
Her ex what?? OMG since when OMG OMG she never told us. WTH !! Khalifa and Salama?! I cant take this anymore I felt as if my heart got stabbed right in the middle. Its too heavy I cant I just want to run far away where no one would ever find me. My eyes began to water but I immediatly brushed it away and breathed heavily.
Reem: " Since when you never told me that you and Khalifa were a couple."
Please stop I beg you. I looked the other way and found Khalifa whispering something to his friend and then he came toward us.
Salama: " We were but we broke up last year we only stayed for one year and now he is here. Excuse me I'll be back."
Before she could leave Khalifa came. They were both staring at each other I just looked down avoiding any eye contacts. I can't handle this feeling I simply can't, it's like there is a burden on my shoulder like a sin I have made.
Reem: " Halla Khalifa min zmaan ma shftk jahiz 7ag el sfar?"
Khalifa brushing his hair awkwardly: " Hallah Reem haih ana jahiz hhh. Sh7alch Elyazyh ... o Salama?"
I lifted my head up acting all strong but once I looked into his eyes I went back into being weak..I ignored.
I smile widely: " Ana b5air el7mdila!"
Salama excused herself not wanting to be part of this awkward chat and moment perhaps.
Reem: " Have a seat Khalifa I wanna chat with you my trustworthy friend."
She gave him a fake smile as he sat on the chair facing her. I was only listening to what they're saying not wanting to speak as my lips are sealed.
Reem: " When did this all happened ? "
Khalifa: " What happened? What is this?"
Reem: " Dont play dumb with me I know everything Salama told me about you both. Khalifa you dating my friend my own friend w ma 5bartny?"
Ouch!
Khalifa: " What do you want me say? I'm guy Reem I can date whomever I want I dont have to tell you. If she was really your friend hal 5ayseh she will tell you. Why didn't you ask her she's your friend I'm a guy I can date any girl I want."
Salama 5ayseh what does he mean by that? I'm confused.
Reem: " Dont ever say that about Salama you don't even know her."
Khalifa: " I have my ways remember she was my girlfriend. I found everything about her that's why we broke up. That's why now sarat el bait because she knew what I'm about to tell you this instance."
Please just dont.
Reem: " Huh what do you mean by that? What did she do?"
Khalifa: " Salama is two-faced , t6la3 wya shbab w wayed things bs I wont say them. Now did you get why she's 5ayseh?"
OMG I never knew that Salama was chi she used to be quite and shy. I can't believe what he said. This is enough this huge weight that is placed on my heart I can't take it anymore. A tear went down to my check as I kept staring on the ground.
Reem: " Salama I never knew that she was two-faced I can't believe what I heard. Elyazyh are you ok? "

He read me like a paper, I hate the fact that all my emotions are shown in my face no matter how much I tried to hide them. I cried in his arms, I hugged him let all the pain inside of me to escape to get out. He hugged me back and allowed myself to feel free in his arms. When I calmed down he wiped away my tears and lifted my head up.
Khalifa: " I'm sorry for what I said back there I never meant to hurt you. I can never hurt you I promise that this would never happen again."
Me: " Wow laish kl ha is it because I cried."
